Duol has made further step in innovations. With innovative ground-anchoring system there is no more need for concrete beam! Air dome installation is now much faster and cost-effective.
By using special ground anchors, new air dome in France was anchored directly into ground. Anchoring process was completed extremely fast with practically no ground works and with ordinary installation equipment. There was no waiting concrete to dry; air dome was inflated immediately after ground anchoring.
New, versatile anchoring system can be rapidly installed in most ground conditions. Air dome can be easily dismantled with no any obstacles left on the ground.

Sport seats modernization
In September 2012, DUOL successfully completed modernization of sport seats in the school sport hall in Slovenia. The old seats were outdated and dysfunctional and were replaced with 435 new wooden seats with high quality folding mechanism. Sport seats were manufactured by Duol.
Air dome in Iceland
Duol has successfully completed a new air dome in Iceland. Air dome is characterized as energy friendly object; all energy needed to operate the air dome is produced only from geothermal and renewable energy sources.
When designing this green air dome, Iceland specific climate conditions were also taken into account. All elements of air dome are designed to withstand heavy storm with strong winds. Unique structural design of air dome is also earthquake safe, since Iceland is known as a seismically active area.
New hall for Nazarbayev University
In April DUOL signed a two and a half million Euro contract to supply a full-equipped hall with wooden bearing construction and membrane roof for, at the moment, the biggest project in Kazakhstan. The project is part of a bigger construction plan in the town Astana.

It is a 300 million expensive project of new Nazarbayev University. DUOL is responsible for design, supply and installation of the 145 x 50 metre hall with over 7.200 square metre large interior including sport flooring and equipment. The project is expected to be completed in four months.
In prospective and rapidly growing Kazakhstan market DUOL has already installed over 100 different sport complexes. In this country it also mounted world’s second largest air dome. It is 15.000 square metre large and covers a football field with athletic track (23.05.2012).

New multisport air dome
In January 2012 DUOL started assembling a new air dome in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the early start of a project the Investor faced DUOL team with task to meet many requirements: quickly set up, economical and flexible object in terms of covering multiple sport courts: tennis, multipurpose (handball, basketball, badminton, volleyball) and football court. Duol had successfully met the expectations; assembling of air dome was successfully finished as well entire interior with sports flooring was delivered in a due time.
Sports equipment and floors are certified and suitable for organization of competitions.
20th Anniversary
Year 2012 is a special milestone for company DUOL. A company marks its 20 years of successful launching DUOL brand of air domes to markets worldwide.
