DUOL double membrane system is translucent and allows a tremendous amount of natural sunlight in. This provides a very pleasant and evenly lit, shadow-free area that is unlike a steel building which needs artificial lighting resulting in many shadows and dark corners. Even on cloudy days, DUOL air supported structure does not require daytime artificial lighting. A steel building would need thousands of watts in lighting to compare to the brightness of an DUOL structure. DUOL air supported structures do not require skylights and windows for illumination because roof covers are made of light translucent material.
